Well.. i happen to stumble upon quite creative handcraft jewelry ... not to mention that there are indeed beautiful pieces in there (just a pity they sold out fast..)
The prices there i feel are quite reasonable. Which makes it even more enticing to get one.
Of course, it's for boys to get for their girlfriends and for girls to accessorise themselves.

Muhhaahah... just thinking of some quotes... cranked up by me ><.
It's never too late to get up, but once ignorance sinks in, it's down the deep end for sure.

| Balance for your life...! |

Damn.
I hate balancing, especially on thight rope, where a single mistake might make you loose everything forever.
Responsibilities weigh down on both sides. And with it, the easier to be off-balance.
The rope shows your road ahead, as you take a step forward through the thick and thin.
The lessons learned leave scars on your feet.
Yet, when you're able to balance, you feel most comforting.
as though the weights don't bother you anymore.
Once you have caught the grasp of it, the remaining journey is smooth to go.
If you fall, you fall badly.
The strength needed to come back up and to do it again is indeed, humongous.
But with some courage brings you back on line
the rest is determination.
Your last few steps are crucial,
As you make your way to the final moments
And when you reach the other end of it, would you turn back and say:
I did it.
or would you look back and regret the long way you have come.
Aha.. something short by me.. been extremely busy these days.. trying hard to get school work and NMA together. Seems like my sleeping hours have just grown shorter by the days..

Alright. I haven't updated for like weeks.. time to put in some things.
Well on friday, which is the 18th, we had sports day!! Taurus won again =D.. though it's getting a little boring seeing my house win everytime.. ><
actually i din go for sports day.. no i should change it to i was excused from sports day to do NMA project for college day, which is next week.. so it was like hours in cold air-con (too cold actually). but the hours were not spent slacking of course.. with my teacher, mr lee inspecting, doing quality check on my work, etc..
I think that from this project itself.. i learnt many things.. one of which is to backup all info. and also when doing projects always SAVE THEM FIRST. I think one problem i have is i sometimes treat the project as an art project instead of a formal programme booklet.. so i miss out on details like to make the headings for each section clearly seen. Also, i learnt that next time.. avoid using photoshop for layouts.. damn !! it was very irritating and confusing trying to get the layout correct, especially for printing..
Alright.. it must sound boring for me to reiterate on my technical mistakes.. plus i doubt anyone would actually care ><.. So anyway.. National New Media Arts Camp is coming up and i sure do look forward to it. It would be held in school and many secondary and primary school students would be coming. =D i like to think i can be young again... ... ...
Anyway.. project work is a pain in the ass, literally.. my but hurts from sitting on the chair typing for long hours.. so i gotta run.. more work coming in... |

| NMA Camp |

wHoo.. tmr's a hliday and i finally find a day to post..
well, for the previous 3 days, i had NMA Camp. IT WAS FUN!!! lol
first day was games all the way. I was in group 3, aka Happy 3 friends. and guess what? WE WON the games. Anyway, it was sure fun with all the team bonding stuff =D.
Next day was filming of NMA advertisement, plus course on Flash, then back to GAMES. war games was fun. And we had performance by group! though my group wasn't ready the first few times but we managed to pull off a third one, the last one, with sheer hardwork and determination of the group, i think they all deserve thr prize we got for emerging first overall. by the end of day 2, i was quite tired.. but we still manaed to watch "Night in the Museum" which was somewhat entertaining.
Third day, the shortest day, did some clean up then off it was to home.
On the whole, i think that the teams success was due to everyone's contribution and perseverence, and also with the support of Iman, help from reena, and tips for dancing from Zee (not sure if i spelled the names correctly..) we manageto pull through the hectic schedules and too short a period of time for learning a dance. Thanks a lot.
by the way, the song we danced was 1,2 step by Ciara. The moves were contributed by me and angelina. wasn't the most perfect, but at least we put in our best effort.
On that note, i bid this camp farewell, and look forward to the many more activities for NMA. btw, i'm now part of exco. so yeah, gd luck and have fun to all ^^ |
